Join Us Sunday!
During our worship gatherings each Sunday, River Kids presents children with the truth of the gospel. We want to support and partner with parents in their role as primary disciple-makers of their children. In every class, the Bible is taught and children are encouraged to be active participants in God’s mission to make disciples of all nations through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons.
Ages & Stages
We understand that you are entrusting us with a precious gift and that is why your child’s safety is very important to us while they are in our care. Each area is supervised by several staff members and volunteers who have been carefully vetted and trained in ensuring the safety of your child. We also pursue low child-to-teacher ratios for optimal learning and safety.
NURSERY & PRESCHOOL | NEWBORN – PRE-KINDERGARTEN
Sundays: 9:30 AM | 11:15 AM
The infant and preschool years are critical for a child’s development. We use play, storytelling, caretaking, and singing to teach each child about God and His love for us. Each Sunday your preschooler will connect with other children in two settings. In small group time, there are opening activities, a craft or game, a Bible truth, and a snack. In large group time, we present the Bible lesson through video and singing.
ELEMENTARY | KINDERGARTEN – 4TH GRADE
Sundays: 9:30 AM | 11:15 AM
During the elementary years, our goal is to help children recognize their need for God, His grace, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Helping elementary aged children see their role in God’s mission to make disciples and multiply churches among all nations is another principle we strive to instill. Large group time engages children through interactive storytelling, verse memorization, singing, and focused prayer. Then, in small groups, leaders help the children reflect on God’s Word through group activities and intentional discussion. Often, leaders build lasting mentor relationships with the kids they lead.
MIDDLE SCHOOL | 5TH -6TH GRADE
Sundays: 9:30 AM | 11:15 AM
In the Middle School phase, our desire is to gain relational stability with them while they work through the “Who Am I?” phase. On their journey, we strive to connect them with God, our leaders, and each other in a place where we can have fun, wrestle with difficult questions through God’s Word, and be real with each other. We long for middle schoolers to make a difference in their spheres of influence and to reach the nations for Jesus.

Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or older sibling who is 16 or older. Children MAY NOT check themselves in.
