A fun and relaxed Preschool Playdate is happening Thursday, May 15, from 9:30–11:30a at Cane Creek Park! We’ll gather at the hilltop pavilion by the upper playground for a morning of play, connection, and snacks. This event is all about creating space for little ones to build friendships and for grown-ups to find encouragement and community in the midst of busy parenting. Whether you’re part of The River or just looking for a place to plug in, you’re welcome here—so invite a friend, bring some sunscreen, and come enjoy the morning with us. No RSVP needed!

There will be a recognition honoring graduating high school seniors at The River on Sunday, May 4, from 4-6p in the West Wing Auditorium. More details coming soon!

Plan to join us as we “Be The Church” in our community on our annual BTC Day on Saturday, May 3. We will be sending groups out all over the Upper Cumberland to serve hands-on to non-profits, widows, local parks, and more. There are opportunities for every skill level and for life groups to serve together. More details to come!

We’re hosting an event for your family to experience together, where you’ll sing songs, play fun games, laugh until your sides hurt, and hear the Easter story told in a way that engages every age. We truly cannot wait to experience Easter Jam with you!

Middle Schoolers, this event is for you!  Join us April 5 as we serve our community!

We will meet at The River at 10a to stuff eggs for Easter Jam, our upcoming community egg hunt. Plus snacks, group games, and much more! This is an event for Middle School families! The Women's Ministry will be hosting an evening designed especially for girls in grades 2-12 and their moms or mentors! Greater will take place on Friday, March 7 from 5:30-9:30p. College Students & Young Adults! Looking for a place to build community and discover your God given-purpose? Our College & Young Adult ministry, The Gathering, is designed to help you grow in those areas. We are kicking off our winter/spring semester this Tuesday night with free dinner @ 6:15 and a worship service @ 7:00pm. If you are 18-25 you are invited to come and participate in what God is doing through The Gathering.

Also, on January 19 after the 9:30 and 11:15 services we will have a meet-n-greet in Conference Room C + D where you can meet some Gathering leadership & staff.

We’ve scheduled a brief Q&A session on Wednesday, November 27, at 5:30p in the main auditorium. During this time, we’ll address pre-submitted questions as well as those asked in person, as time allows. Church members will vote on the budget’s approval during each service on Sunday morning, December 1.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend our family meeting. However, only those that have completed River 101 and signed the Membership Covenant will be eligible to cast a ballot on the 2025 Budget approval.
